Serums & Stones Event

Wendy Schemper, a Dermalogica educator, visited Renewal to share the benefits and proper application techniques for Dermalogica's amazing serums. She also led a hands-on session, guiding us through the proper use of the gua sha stone for facial massage. Attendees also got a surprise preview of Dermalogica's holiday collection!
Renewal's 13th Anniversary Celebration
In June, Renewal celebrated its 13th anniversary with a "Butterfly Wonderland" theme. We appreciate all of our clients that made this happen! The Pink Lady Butterflies emerged a few days after the event; everyone enjoyed watching their progress (see photo gallery below).

Renewal's 10 year Anniversary Event, 2021
Wow! 10 years in business and still loving it. A passion for esthetics and wonderful clients are key reasons why Cindy looks forward to going to work. The annual summer anniversary event was elevated a bit this year with beautiful decor and lots of free things in the swag bags clients took home. The 2 day event was happily exhausting.
2020 Holiday Boutique November 11-13
Due to COVID safety measures, we knew we couldn't host our usual open house, and when Cindy had to go into quarantine days prior to the event, everything went virtual. Cindy video chatted with many clients (even one from another state!), giving virtual tours of the displays and answering questions. Those participating got the personal attention they deserved. Despite the last minute change-of-plans, it turned out to be the most successful event in Renewal history! Expect a mix of virtual & in-person events in the future.
9th Anniversary Event, June 24-25, 2020
The annual anniversary event was conducted by personal shopping appointments this year with curbside pick up and delivery options available. Not the traditional party atmosphere, but it was great to give one-on-one attention to those who wanted it.

Thanks to all who helped celebrate our 8th anniversary! Hard to believe it's already been 8 years. Lots of great prizes were offered. There was a steady stream of customers, so the night went by quickly.
2018 Holiday Open House
What a fun night! Once the first person came, it was steady the rest of the night. Unfortunately, no photos of guests were captured, but at least there's a shot of Britni giving a chair massage. I have to thank my husband, Mel, and assistant, Rachel, for helping attend to all the guests. Alyce Winters gets all the credit for the beautiful holiday decor (her services and crafts are for sale!)

I brought Glo Minerals line of cosmetics into Renewal in July and have been introducing it to clients gradually. Recently I hosted two small groups of ladies to show off more of the product line and let them play with whatever they wanted. Book a Group event at Renewal
On February 5 & 17, 2014, I hosted ladies from Delta Zeta at Renewal for facial waxing and hand treatments. I blocked off several hours just for them, and they were able to socialize and snack while they waited for their service. Too bad I forgot to take some photos during the event.
Sun Safety Presentation at Delta Zeta
On April 28, 2013, I had the pleasure of giving an interactive Sun Safety presentation to the ladies of Delta Zeta at the U of Iowa. I spoke about the effects of UV radiation, skin cancer, skin cancer prevention, and sunscreen usage. The ladies passed my quiz with flying colors!
